It’s a pretty simple formula that we work hard to maintain and it’s why we’re proud to say we’re good with people and we’re good with money too.

We care about the community

At St.George, we have a history of looking after our customers and proud links to many local community initiatives. We’ve taken steps to make sure our impact is a positive one on every level. This includes making sure our work practices are sustainable, providing our employees with a safe, rewarding and flexible work environment and contributing to the wellbeing of the greater community.

Since 1990 the St.George Foundation has provided more than $11 million to almost 400 Australian charities that help children and teenagers who are disadvantaged or suffer a disability or serious illness. The Foundation is not a single purpose charity and as a result we can help a cross-section of young people with special needs. Learn more about the Foundation

We also encourage our people to participate in volunteer projects, supporting them with one day a year of paid leave to assist a not-for-profit organisation of their choice. Top of mind also for St.George is looking at how we can become a ‘Greener Dragon’, by reducing our environmental footprint and helping our customers and staff to do the same.
